What happens during Laser Resurfacing?

The treatment uses an Erbium:Yag Laser to create tiny thermal holes in the skin, stimulating a healing process and a deep ‘peel-like’ effect. It works on every layer of the skin, down to the dermis, to stimulate skin cell turnover. It also reduces excess facial oil flow, kickstarts new collagen and elastin formation, resurfaces the skin, and rejuvenates its appearance.

Clients are advised to go straight home after the treatment and remain cool and relaxed. We advise you to drink at least 2 litres of water for 1 week, both pre- and post-treatment, to aid the healing process. We also recommend a specific post-laser serum and SPF to promote healing.
