Your consultation is designed to give your skin the attention it deserves.
We begin with a detailed conversation about your concerns, goals, lifestyle, previous treatments, skincare, medical history and any medications. Skin often behaves differently beneath the surface than it appears, and understanding your full history allows us to address potential triggers, not just the symptoms.
Our advanced skin imaging technology, including the Observ 520x, gives your practitioner insight into hydration, pigmentation, inflammation, barrier health, texture and other factors that aren’t always visible to the naked eye.
From there, you’ll receive a fully personalised treatment and skincare plan, with clear guidance on what will deliver the safest, most effective results for your skin.
You’ll leave the consultation feeling informed and confident in a plan that’s built around your unique needs.
Yes. We strongly recommend booking a consultation before starting any advanced skin treatment. Many concerns such as acne, pigmentation or redness can appear similar on the surface but have very different underlying causes. A consultation ensures we select the most appropriate treatment for your skin type, Fitzpatrick and medical history to avoid ineffective or unsuitable procedures.
Our skin consultation includes advanced skin imaging, a full practitioner assessment and a personalised treatment plan.

The OBSERV 520x is an advanced skin analysis system that allows us to assess concerns that may not be visible under normal lighting. Using specialised imaging modes, it helps identify pigmentation, dehydration, inflammation, vascular concerns, oil production, and barrier health, allowing us to create a more accurate and personalised treatment plan.
A professional skin analysis uses advanced diagnostic technology to assess both the surface and deeper layers of the skin. At Fiji Skin Clinic, we capture multiple clinical images to check hydration levels, pigmentation (including melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), oil production, inflammation and barrier function. This provides real data rather than guesswork.
We recommend reviewing your skin every three months. Seasonal changes, hormonal shifts and ageing all influence your skin’s behaviour. Regular reviews allow us to adjust treatment settings and skincare prescriptions to maintain consistent progress.
