We Source the Latest Equipment to Deliver the Best Results for Our Clients
Alongside the Soprano Ice Platinum we also have the latest Lynton Lumina Laser & IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). The Lynton Lumina is a medical grade laser and is certified to be used on the NHS.
For hair reduction the Lumina uses IPL for hair removal which is really effective but can be more time consuming. It can be more restrictive for darker skin types too with higher risks of burns and hyperpigmentation . Unfortunately when using IPL for hair removal your treatment course will need to be put on hold during the summer months until your tan has faded. Our Soprano Ice Platinum is always the first choice for permanent hair reduction as its faster and pain free and we can even treat you with a tan so we can get you feeling super smooth sooner!

Made in Britain by the UK's No.1. IPL manufacturer and leading NHS supplier. This Laser is one of the only NHS Certified IPL and Lasers.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a method of hair removal that uses several different wavelengths of light to permanently reduce hair growth.
For permanent hair reduction to be successful, the hair follicle itself must be destroyed which means it must be in the correct growth stage when IPL treatments are performed. This is why we normally recommend 6-12 sessions depending on which are you are having treated.
The light from the IPL is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft to create a photo-thermal effect within the follicle. This means that we are heating the hair up to destroy the follicle without damaging the surrounding tissues.
What happens during my treatment?
During your treatments the handpiece will be placed on to the skin and a pulse of light will be directed to target several follicles at the same time. The handpiece is then moved across and repeated until the entire treatment area has been completed
How will my skin look after IPL?
Your skin may be slightly red after treatment and the hair follicles may swell and turn red, this usually goes down after a few hours. We always advise to keep the area clean and free of perfumed product and keep the area cool to minimise any after effects.
Am I suitable for treatment with IPL?
Most people are suitable for hair removal treatments and best results are often achieved with clients who have fair skin and dark hair, as dark hair has a higher concentration of melanin and therefore is more easily treated as it absorbs light better. Treatments can take as little as 10 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the treatment area and typically 6 or more treatments are required for optimum results. Treatment is suitable for both the face and body, is quick and results can be seen after just a few sessions.
