Is Laser Resurfacing painful?

Comfort level depends on the settings we are using and the client’s tolerance for pain. All warmth and erythema tends to disappear within 60 mins of treatment and skin has a wind burn feel that will remain for 24-48 hours depending on the settings used. Clients compare the sensation felt during laser treatments to a rubber band snapping against their skin. It does feel warm and it the heat can feel uncomfortable.
