Hydrafacials are suitable for all skin types, all skin tones and all skin concerns. Hydrafacials promotes healthier glowing skin and are really popular to prepare the skin for special occasions or maintain constant glowing skin.

The benefit of having a course of Hydrafacials is that the more treatments you have the stronger the peel. For example, for the first 2 Hydrafacials a 7.5% peel is used before its stepped up to a 15% and eventually 30% peel. The practitioner can also use more abrasive tips to exfoliate the skin the more treatments that are received. This means that no every Hydrafacial you have is the same, its almost like a step up process so your results will also get better & better.

WHY WE RECOMMEND UPGRADING TO THE DERMALUX TRIWAVE MD LED PHOTOTHERAPY AFTER A HYDRAFACIAL

What makes Fiji Hydrafacials better is that not only do we have the latest Hydrafacial Syndeo device for the best results and experience, we also offer the Dermalux Triwave MD LED Phototherapy at the end of the Hydrafacial treatments too. The small Hydrafacial handheld LED lights found on older Hydrafacial devices such as the Hydrafacial Elite are no where near as powerful as Dermalux Triwave MD LED or the traditional. The Dermalux Triwave MD is 10 times stronger than the Dermalux canopy and Hydrafacial LED canopy. What should you not do after a Hydrafacial?

No waxing or threading for at least 48 hours after treatment. No chemical peels or laser treatments for two weeks after and avoid treatments or products containing acids or enzymes for 48 hours. We also recommend you stop using retinol/vitamin A 48 hours prior to treatment and resume normally two days post treatment. Seek advice from Fiji Skin Clinic if you are on any prescription topical creams such as prescription vitamin A or antimicrobials as these must be stopped 7 days before treatment. You must also contact us if you are on any medication or have changed/taken any new medication before each treatment.

WHAT ARE THE SEVEN STEPS FOR THE PLATINUM HYDRAFACIAL?

Lymphatic drainage - to improve circulation of the lymph system and help to eliminate toxins.
Cleanse – This is to remove make up and prepare the skin.
Peel - This is the resurfacing step, when skin is exfoliated, a combination of Salicylic Acid & Glycolic Acid are used.
Extraction - is performed to remove the ‘gunk’ out of pores whilst delivering topical moisturisers at the same time.
Skin Boosters or serums are then applied to the skin. These are geared toward your skin concerns such as reducing hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin, or enlarged pores.
LED lights are placed over the skin to deliver a powerful LED light treatment, which reduces redness, breakouts and increase collagen and elastin stimulation.
The treatment is finished with hydration and SPF & UVA protection.

How long does it last and how often should I have a Hydrafacial?

While every person is different, results usually last anywhere from four to six weeks. You can have Hydrafacial treatments about once a month, or once every 4 weeks. This is the general frequency that is most compatible for most people and that can generate the best skin-boosting benefits. It’s recommended that you schedule a Hydrafacial monthly to maintain your beautiful new complexion. If you are suffering with a specific concern you may want to opt for a Hydrafacial once a week for 6 weeks followed by monthly maintenance.

What are the three main stages of a Hydrafacial?

The Hydrafacial includes a cleanse which resurfaces the skin, removes dead skin cells and preps the skin for the remaining steps. A ‘Glysal’ peel which is a mixture of glycolic and salicylic acid will then be applied to the skin to bring everything to the surface and soften blackheads and impurities ready for the next step which is extractions. We then extract and hydrate the skin, removing black heads, white heads and dead skin. To finish a cocktail of antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid is applied which will protect and hydrate the skin while also improving texture, clarity and the signs of ageing.

I approached Fiji in September 2023 with a goal to achieve clearer, brighter, glassier skin for my September 2024 wedding. At this point my skin was relatively clear anyway, but I was aiming to generally improve how it looks and feels.After my initial skin review with Kay, and based on me breastfeeding so being unable to undergo any treatments, I was advised to go down the product route, and was prescribed a series of products. Costly, having spent a few hundred pounds, but I considered it an investment.At my 12 week review in December, I started seeing Beth for my appointments, and again reiterated my skin goals for my wedding. During this review, I’d noticed some real improvements to my skin, and I was advised to add more products to my routine to improve results.After this point, I noticed more break outs. During reviews from this point, any regressions were attributed to wedding stress, and although I hadn’t identified being particularly stressed, I was advised to practice more self care and take some time out for myself. I was prescribed a few more products and had supplements introduced to my routine too. Again, costly, but I was hopeful that the investment would pay off.By August 2024, a month out from my wedding, I expressed concerns that my skin had gotten worse since December, not better; with more breakouts than ever before. Again this was attributed to stress, but after sending pictures and again expressing my worry with my wedding nearing, in fairness to Beth, she really tried to help. She found a treatment that I’d be able to try while breastfeeding - the LED treatment - and offered these on a complimentary basis.After a few of these over the remaining weeks leading to my wedding, while my skin did benefit from an initial glow, sadly the breakouts didn’t improve.As a result, by the time my wedding came, I’d had more breakouts than ever before. Now, looking at our photos, I’m pretty devastated that I’d invested so much money to achieve such adverse results.Based on this, I cancelled any further appointments post-wedding, given that I’d achieved adverse results, and explained as such. To her credit, Beth arranged a follow up call to check in on me, and offered to look at helping me again in the future; which, given these results, I politely declined.I will say that the team at Fiji are lovely; very welcoming and friendly. It saddens me to write this review, but I do think it’s important to share.

Having in lived in Sutton all my life I have always known and heard about Fiji Skin Clinic. When I finally decided to have laser hair removal I rang up and booked in for a consultation. The salon has recently been refurbished and is clean & welcoming. I had my consultation with Yvette who is so lovely, made me feel totally at ease and talked me through the procedure. I was amazed at how painless it was and booked in for a package. I have now had 2 sessions and I am already so pleased with the results, Yvette is amazing and makes me feel so at ease. I would recommend Fiji to anyone, although maybe a bit more expensive than other clinics, I have compared results with friends who have gone cheaper and theirs have either been more painful or not as effective.

I had an appointment at Fiji for a consultation, I turned up 15 mins late Which I totally understand is my fault and take full responsibility for, but when I arrived there, the practitioner(Kay) I had, bombarded me with negativity about how she doesn’t want to deal with me because “I have too many questions” are you for real is it not your responsibility to advise us on anything we don’t understand or not sure about, I found her approach very alarming, instead of saying I was late and let me go, she instead started to interrogate me by sounding cruel and malicious about how she doesn’t want to treat me and suggested me to go else where, this came across as very rude to me, at this point I was feeling very much uncomfortable as I was trying to explain myself but she was not listening I was left stunned by what had happened and I was totally speechless, I sincerely think the practitioner (kay) I was dealing with today is mentally unfit for this role, she needs to see a psychiatrist and also needs to educate herself on client code of conduct , she probably thinks she can walk all over people because she owns the place, let me tell you one thing matriarch I’m a landlord myself I own many properties so belittling and undermining people is not going to get you anywhere but self destruction I would love to show you your place by taking this further if I have to even if I have to go legal. I’m so disappointed I had to deal with Kay, Beth is definitely a better practitioner hands down practitioner!.

I've been using Fiji for 5 months now and I have to leave a disappointing but honest review.Firstly, I noticed the clinic offers a discount for posting Google reviews so please bear this in mind when reading reviews.1st appointment, I was shown detailed skin analysis and advised to use the Obaji kit, peel and moisturiser.1st follow up consultation no improvement in skin analysis and advised this was due to my product application. I was also required to purchase additional products in exchange for the consultation.2nd consultation still no improvement in skin analysis, again due to my apparent poor application even though I was out of the majority of products.I expressed concerns re products potentially not penetrating into skin which were dismissed. The lack of progress which was apparent in skin analysis was also dismissed and instead I was just encouraged to repurchase kit and additional treatments.I liked a couple of the products in particular the exfoliating day cream and night cream, but I was told you HAVE to use the whole range or results will NOT be achieved. I enquired about the cost as I had seen them available online at a significantly lower price...£309 v £371 at Fiji! At this point the 'upbeat tone' disappeared very quickly and the owner cut off my phone call.You will hear a lot about Fiji being a obaji best seller and that in my opinion is down to the sale technique and the discounted Google reviews.To summarise, any concerns I raised about my progress were dismissed in a patronising manner and I was made to feel like I was the problem, not the product. It was quickly used as a sales opportunity to upsell additonal products and services.Sometimes, products don't work for everyone. Sometimes, people dont want to overpay for the same products which are cheaper elsewhere. The instant turn in behaviour just shows she sees you as a cashpoint not a client.Edit:The call from the owner came after I left a review...not before. At this point following your behaviour you have lost my engagement.You should listen to clients concerns and not just push sales. If a client says they don't like the spf because it is very thick and heavy and greasy and leaves a horrible cast, I really don't see how switching it to a tinted one will help! And I am the ONLY person who didn't like the face wash. And I wont be charged for a sample product because Fiji are doing me some kind of favour. THIS is the sales technique I am referring to. Nonetheless, this was a review of Fiji not obaji.If clients don't like products, feed it back to obagi instead of pushing a product in the manner in which you do. There are other spf products on the market with the same protection. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. I, as the client am reporting my issues.And to be very clear, consultations are NOT free as you have to purchase products or services or pay a consultation fee. I purchased products at each consultation. The peel was an in store promotion on at the time of my consultation. I don't see how this is even relevant to the issues I raised apart from another sales technique to promote Fiji.The whole response seems like an opportunity to promote Fiji services. You have shared my entire confidential treatment and rx data which is not good practice for a skin clinic.If the online prices were not comparable, you should have said so or suggested you look into it. I don't want a sunhat or sample products pushed on me. Again, not relevant. It was a genuine enquiry on the cost of the kit. But instead you were very rude and cut off my phone call. This is unacceptable for a service industry.

I’ve been twice with Yvette now for my hydrafacials and she has been excellent. She has explained each step every time and always made me feel very welcomed and comfortable and talked through my skin care with me. For the past few months I have been having laser hair removal on my face with Fiji Skin Clinic and have been happy with the service I have received.Although following one of my more recent appointments I was not satisfied with the results of my laser as I had noticed regrowth in areas, where hair had previously started become finer. I had contacted Kay regarding my concerns. Kay had provided me with excellent customer service and had put me at ease. On my next appointment I was looked after by one of their best laser clinicians (Yvette) and my treatment on this occasion I was very pleased with. Yvette was thorough and ensured all areas of my face were covered to ensure I get the best results from my treatment. Alongside this as a gesture of goodwill I did not need to pay for this treatment as Fiji Skin Clinic value customer feedback and take any reviews as an opportunity for learning.The whole experience has been positive and I am incredibly impressed with the customer service I have received. I would highly recommend Fiji Skin Clinic as all the staff take their time to look after all their customers and ensure customers have the best experience. I will definitely be back for more treatments for sure!Thank you 😊

The clinic was such a lovely and professional place. I had a great experience for my first time. A lady called Beth did my initial consultation for lasering and she explained everything to me thoroughly and answered any questions I had. All the forms were sorted for me straight away and the laser experience itself only took about 10 minutes. I would recommend this place if anyone wants to get lasering done as you end up feeling rejuvenated as you leave.

Being a ‘mature’ lady, I was looking for something more than just a facial and so when I saw the advert for Morpheus8, I was intrigued and went along to the open evening to learn more about this. After a lot of research, I signed up for the treatment and have just had my last treatment of the course today. After 3 sessions, I have now started to see beneficial changes in my skin and now cannot wait until my review in January when I should really be able to see significant benefits of my investment with this relatively new treatment. ( I believe that Fiji is currently the only clinic offering Morpheus8 treatment in Birmingham). The team at the clinic are all extremely professional and knowledgeable and very friendly. I was assigned to Beth for my treatment and sincerely, she has been phenomenal - thank you. It is a bit of a leap of faith as the results with Morpheus8 are not immediate, but I am feeling confident that it was the right choice of treatment for me. I’ll give an update after my review late January!

I had a booked a hydra facial. Unfortunately due to my own personal circumstances I could not have the hydra facial, I spoke with Laura and Wallis who offered me a different type of facial both of them were really kind and welcoming. Wallis did the facial for me and she was extremely professional and warm. She explained each process before carrying it out. We also had a good chat whilst she was doing it. My skin is glowing and I feel relaxed after my visit to Fiji Skin Clinic.

I went to Fiji skin clinic for a skin consultation with Beth. Beth was extremely knowledgable and we talked in detail through all my skin concerns. The use of the photographs to show skin issues not visible on the surface was amazing and we talked through the best plan for my skin treatment and that we would have regular consultations to make sure progress was being made. I found it extremely informative and helpful and I felt reassured in my skin treatment choices. Looking forward to seeing the results!
